Halloween-Scary for different reasons
Check out the above link to learn more the amazing Halloween initiative for helping make children stay safe on Halloween.
It's that time of year again, costumes are coming out, decorations are everywhere, and scary movies and on the TV. But Halloween can be scary for a whole different set of reasons for some kids. Lurking in wrappers and hidden in chocolate bars can be life threatening allergens that parents and kids fear.
This year, Food Allergy Research and Education are asking parents and candy givers to go teal. Painting your decorative pumpkins teal inform children and their parents that the house min question is offering items other then candy and chocolate.
So this Halloween, go teal and support children who have special dietary needs, pick up some small tools, allergen friendly snacks, or anything safe you can think of.
